Dimitri Pantazaras is a Director of Tusk Capital Partners and a Senior Advisor of Tusk. He has over 30 years experience in banking and investment management in the US and Asia. He started his career as a development specialist with Merrill Lynch in Princeton. In 1992, he joined the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Washington DC and later in Jakarta, where he led the restructuring negotiations during the 1997 Asian financial crisis.
In 2000, he joined PT Sigma Cipta Caraka, Indonesia’s leading software developer and Internet service provider as Director of Investments and new Business Development. In 2001, following the company’s successful buyout, he co-founded PT Adephi Investments, a fixed income fund management and advisory firm based in Jakarta.
Between 2006-2008, he was the Director of Investments for South-East Asia with EMP Bahrain, the General Partner and Manager of the US$1 billion Islamic Development Bank Infrastructure Fund. In 2009, he co-founded PT Melium Nusantara, an Indonesian investment and real estate development firm where he holds the position of President Director until today.
Mr. Pantazaras received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Essex and a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Athens.
