Dr. Alo Ghosh is the Managing Director of Tusk Capital Partners, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tusk and he is also a Senior Advisor of Tusk. He is a former professor of finance at the Wharton Business School and is also a former strategy consultant with McKinsey & Co in New York. He founded an IT firm in Silicon Valley and India employing over 600 people and ran it in 5 countries for a decade serving the Global 500. Dr. Ghosh was also the Head of Ventures for the US$ 4 billion PNG Sustainable Development Program Fund focused on infrastructure development across Papua New Guinea, the largest economy in the South Pacific. At Tusk, Dr. Ghosh provides strategic support for Tusk’s government clients on economic development strategies. He also undertakes real options analysis expert for both government and private sector clients. He is currently assisting the government of Indonesia on the development of an alternative infrastructure funding strategy for Public Private Partnership schemes.
Dr. Ghosh holds 3 Masters degrees in Economics, Operations Research & Systems Engineering as well as a MBA & PhD in finance from Wharton Business School. Dr. Ghosh divides his time between San Francisco and Jakarta.
